LGBTQ Substance Use/Addiction & Recovery Treatment

Rainbow Access Initiative, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving LGBTQ+ communities in Albany, New York, is seeking a Consultant with professional knowledge about LGBTQ+ substance use/addiction and recovery treatment.

 

This is a one-time grant-funded opportunity to work (remotely) with our Board of Directors and staff to help us develop an action plan for Program Development. Must be familiar with addiction treatment resources local to the Capital Region.

Mental Health Therapist

(Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors)

This is a part-time, fee for service position with Rainbow Access Initiative, Inc. (RAI). The applicant will provide individual assessment and treatment, as well as case management with adults age 18+. Sessions can be provided via telehealth. Hours are flexible and can include evenings and weekends. Must be licensed in New York State. Supervision and training are provided.
 

RAI provides comprehensive, affirming, and culturally sensitive clinical care for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Communities (LGBTQ+) throughout the Capital Region of New York. RAI is particularly dedicated to providing quality care to underserved populations including LGBTQ+ Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and LGBTQ+ people living with physical and/or mental disabilities or challenges.

RAI is seeking professionals that are motivated, reliable, independent, and have passion and training for serving LGBTQ+ communities. Professionals with additional experience in substance use and addiction services (CASACs) desired.
